By command of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar `Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Prime Minister's Office hereby announces that His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to the appointment of Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Bakti Diraja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Isa bin Pehin Datu Perdana Manteri Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Ibrahim as Speaker to the Legislative Council to replace Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Indera Mahkota Pengiran Anak (Dr.) Kemaludin Al-Haj ibni Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Haji Mohd Yassin.

The date of the said appointment will take effect from Thursday, 7th of Rabiulawal, 1432 corresponding to 10th of February, 2011.
