Dengan bersyukur di atas limpah dan kurnia Allah Subhanahu Wataala yang mentakdirkan kami bernegara merdeka penuh berdaulat, iaitu Negara Brunei Darussalam maka kami berikrar akan:

• Bersatu padu dan menumpukan taat setia di bawah pimpinan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam;
• Mempertahankan dan menjunjungnya dengan setia sebagai negara Melayu Islam Beraja yang merdeka, berdaulat dan demokratik bersendikan kepada ajaran-ajaran agama Islam menurut Ahli Sunnah Waljamaah sebagai cara hidup yang lengkap;
• Berbakti dan rela berkorban pada mempertahankan maruah dan kedaulatannya serta memelihara keamanan dan keselamatannya;
• Mendukung nilai-nilai akhlak yang sempurna, serta taat dan menjunjung keluhuran undang-undangnya;
• Bekerja dengan gigih, jujur lagi amanah pada meningkatkan kemajuan dan kemakmurannya yang diredai oleh Allah.

Commemorative 25th National Day stamps

In conjunction with the silver jubilee of Brunei's independence, the postal services will be issuing commemorative stamps and official first day envelopes during the national day celebration on Feb 23.

Fourteen post office branches nationwide will be open on Feb 23 for the public to buy special issues.

Eight stamp designs will be issued at 25 cents each and two envelope designs priced at 45 cent each.

One mini edition priced at $25 each and one special mini edition at $25 each will also be issued.

The branches open on Feb 23 will be Stamp Gallery, BSB, Mail and Packages Processing, Seri Kompleks, Muara, Sengkurong, LTAB, Kiulap, Kuala Belait, Seria, Telisai, Lumut, Tutong and Bangar.

The services will be open from 8am to 3pm.

Sales will also be held at Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium from 6.30am until the event ends.

Sales will also be held at the Giant Shopping complex in Rimba from 9am to 4pm. Order forms will be distributed to all post office branches starting today.

mini National flag distribution

A committee member for the Distribution of Mini National Flag Committee sticked a mini flag on my car at workplace last year

The mini national flags will be distributed tomorrow (15th Feb) morning at Rizqun International Hotel, Gadong. I hope my car will get one! :-D

Titah collection 2007

One of the latest publications of Information Department is the Titah-Titah 2007. It is a collection of royal addresses made by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam delivered in various occasions throughout the year 2007.

Public can get this for FREE from the Information Department, Old Airport Complex, Berakas during office hours, Mon - Thu & Sat, 7:45am - 12:15pm, 1:30pm - 4:30pm.

Hoist our flag at our residence or offices from today 8th February to 26th February 2009, in conjunction with the celebration of 25th Anniversary of National Day of Brunei Darussalam.

"...bersempena dengan Sambutan Jubli Perak Hari Kebangsaan Negara Brunei Darussalam dan bagi memeriahkan lagi sambutan berkenaan, sukacita rakyat dan penduduk negara ini sama-sama mengibarkan bendera di rumah-rumah kediaman masing-masing dan bangunan-bangunan pejabat dan perniagaan mulai hari Ahad, 12 Safar 1430 bersamaan 8 Februari 2009 hingga hari Khamis, 1 Rabiulawal 1430 bersamaan 26 Februari 2009.

Dalam hubungan ini, pengiran-pengiran akan mengibarkan bendera peribadi, orang-orang yang dikurniakan gelaran akan mengibarkan bendera masing-masing dan bagi orang ramai pula akan mengibarkan bendera Negara Brunei Darussalam."
