Clerks to Legislative Council

Effective from 1st July 2011, the clerks to the Legislative Council are now:-

Clerk I (First) of the Legislative Council = Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Jaya Dato Paduka Awang Haji Judin bin Asar

Clerk II (Second) to the Legislative Council = Dato Paduka Awang Sa Bali bin Abas

By command of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzadin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saiffudien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Prime Minister's Office hereby announces that His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has commanded that,

Yang Mulia Dato Paduka Awang Sa Bali bin Abas, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports be transferred as Clerk II (Second) to the Legislative Council with a status equivalent to the Permanent Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office. The date of this transfer shall take effect from Friday, 29 Rejab, 1432 corresponding to 1st of July, 2011. Following this appointment, Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Jaya Dato Paduka Awang Haji Judin bin Asar shall become Clerk I (First) of the Legislative Council with effect from the same date.
