Brunei Darussalam will be celebrating the Revelation of the Al-Quran for 1429H (Sambutan Nuzul Al-Qur'an) on 17 Ramadhan 1429 corresponding to 17th September 2008, 9.15pm in the International Convention Centre, Berakas. Therefore, the public holiday falls on 18th September, not 17th September! That means a continuous 2-day holiday (Thu + Fri) for the civil servants.
