Food Recall

A number of dairy products and confectionery has been recalled following the China melamine-tainted milk incident. The Ministry of Health of Brunei Darussalam took stringent ban on the sale and distribution of these tainted products. To check on the list of recalled food products, click here

Under Chapter 9 cap (1) sub paragraph (i) of the Public Health Act (Food) (Section 182), whoever prepares, sells or imports food that are hazardous to health can be imprisoned for five years, fined or both.
